Founded in 1956, the Long Island String Festival Association (LISFA) cultivates string music by organizing all-county festivals for elementary, junior, and high school students. LISFA's success is attributed to dedicated string teachers, talented students, supportive parents, and quality conductors who celebrate music's power.
