The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program of Northeast Indiana, founded in 2007, advocates for residents in nursing homes and licensed assisted living facilities across nine counties (Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells, and Whitley). As a State and Federally funded non-profit, they provide free, confidential services to residents, helping with care plan meetings, involuntary discharges, and addressing concerns about their care, ensuring their rights and well-being are protected.
