The Louisiana Agriscience Teachers Association (LATA) is a professional organization founded in 2009 for agricultural educators in Louisiana. LATA provides members with professional development and networking opportunities to improve their teaching skills and advance the profession.
Mission
Louisiana Agriscience Teachers Association provides teachers workshops for agriscience teachers throughout the state of Louisiana. They also provide a mechanism for teachers to purchase group liability insurance at group rates and workshops for new agriscience teachers with less than 2 years of experience.
