About
Founded in 1972, the Louisiana Council for Economic Education (LCEE) enhances economic literacy among K-12 students. LCEE provides teachers with accessible instruction and resources, equipping them to teach economic concepts effectively. LCEE's programs aim to prepare students to be informed consumers, savers, investors, and active participants in the global economy.
Mission
LCEE provides teachers with understandable instruction and improves access to instructional materials. They help prepare K-12 students to meet economic benchmarks, become productive members of the workforce, responsible citizens and competent decision makers.
