Johns Island Bluebird Trail
Club members maintain bluebird houses to encourage the growth of the local bluebird population and educate the community.

Certified Back Yard Habitat
The club strives for 100% participation in the National Wildlife Federation Certified Backyard Habitat Program among its members.

Gardening Therapy for the Elderly
MGC conducts workshops for residents of Johns Island Health and Rehabilitation Center, providing gardening therapy activities.

Garden Therapy
MGC holds an annual workshop for ages 6-12 at the Johns Island Public Library promoting backyard habitat through hands-on activities.

Civic Beautification
MGC plants and maintains containers at the Barrier Island Free Medical Clinic on Johns Island.

The Magnolia Garden Club of Beaumont, TX, founded in 1937, cultivates interest in home gardening and floral design. They educate the public on gardening and conservation through workshops and junior gardener programs. The club contributes to city beautification projects, including the Beaumont Botanical Gardens and Arbor Day tree planting, while also supporting Lamar University's environmental studies scholarship.
