About
Main Line Meals on Wheels, founded in 1972 by Elaine Belmonte, delivers nutritious meals to the aged, convalescents, homebound, and handicapped in the community, regardless of ability to pay. Originally serving 24 patrons, they now serve over 124 and have delivered over 3.2 million meals. They partner with Surrey Services for Seniors to continue meeting the increasing needs of the homebound.
Mission
Main Line Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious meals to the aged, convalescents, homebound and handicapped persons who are unable to shop or cook for themselves, regardless of race, color, creed, age or ability to pay. It's not just about the food – everyone gets a daily visit from someone who cares.
