Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department Company No. 2, originally Section No. 2 of the Hill and Valley Fire Department (1904), serves the east end of the district. As a volunteer fire company, they respond to over 650 calls per year, protecting the community with a dedicated team and modern equipment. Mission
The Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department covers ten square miles with a residential population of over 44,000. The Department is comprised of 255 all-volunteer fire department members and responds to over 2,050 incidents annually.
