About
The Marcus Foundation, est. 1991, supports clinical research in brain tumor therapy, primarily at Massachusetts General Hospital. It established the Marcus Fund for Families to help families with children undergoing treatment for brain tumors and neurological diseases at MGH. The foundation was created in memory of Mark S. Niziak Jr., who passed away from a brain tumor.
Mission
The Marcus Foundation supports brain tumor research being conducted at the Massachusetts General Hospital. The Foundation also established and supports the Childhood Brain Tumor Fund, funding research and finding cures.
