The Marengo County Historical Society, founded in 1967, preserves and promotes the history of Marengo County, Alabama. It owns and operates Bluff Hall, a house museum from the 1830s, and Lyon Hall, a Greek Revival home built in the 1850s. The Society collects, studies, and publicizes the facts and artifacts of the county's past.
