The Marshall County Historical Society, founded in 1971, preserves Marshall County's history through its museum and research library. Housed in the historic 1891 courthouse, the museum features over 18 display rooms showcasing artifacts, documents, and stories from the county's past. The Society also offers genealogy services and hosts community events, ensuring the legacy of Marshall County is accessible for future generations.
Mission
The Marshall County Historical Society preserves and celebrates the rich heritage of the community through the maintenance of the 1891 Historic Courthouse, which served as the county's courthouse for nearly 90 years. They maintain a museum and research library and host various events to share the history of Marshall County.
