Lobbies to mandate eye screenings for all children by age three to diagnose amblyopia early.

Ophthalmology for the School Nurse
Provides a manual for school nurses to help them manage common eye problems and injuries.

MSEPS Speakers Bureau
Offers informational talks by member ophthalmologists.

Senior Eye Health Screenings
Provides free eye screenings at Senior Centers and Council on Aging facilities.

HCFA/AAO Medicare Diabetes Initiative
Works to improve health services for Medicare diabetic patients by increasing the number who receive annual dilated eye exams.

The Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons (MSEPS), founded in 1973, advocates for public access to ophthalmic care in Massachusetts. As a non-profit, MSEPS represents ophthalmologists, who are medical doctors specializing in eye evaluation and treatment. MSEPS is dedicated to promoting the practice of ophthalmology in the state.
