Metro West Council of Government, founded in 2004, serves over 750,000 residents in Kane, DeKalb, and Kendall Counties, IL. Supported by member dues, it promotes excellence in local government, evaluates legislation impacts, advocates for municipal positions, fosters intergovernmental communication, provides research, training, and addresses growth, transportation and water issues.
Mission
The Metro West Council of Government facilitates intergovernmental leadership and action toward their collective quality of life. They are an intergovernmental association of 38 municipalities in Kane, Kendall and DeKalb counties of Illinois.
