About
The Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1989, is an all-volunteer community orchestra in the Greater Dayton area. Its mission is to provide high-quality performances that entertain, enrich, and inspire the community, while also advancing the knowledge and appreciation of music. The MVSO also has a Youth Strings program founded in 2016 that welcomes young string players from across the region.
