The Mid Atlantic Women's Hockey Association (MAWHA), est. 2004, is a non-profit dedicated to growing girls' and women's ice hockey in the Mid-Atlantic. Their mission is to develop grassroots programs, maximize each athlete's potential on and off the ice, foster team unity, and promote sportsmanship, increasing female participation in the sport.
Mission
The Mid Atlantic Women's Hockey Association (MAWHA) was formed in August 2004 to better meet the needs of girls and women interested in playing hockey in the Mid-Atlantic region. As a non-profit, MAWHA aims to develop grassroots opportunities, maximize individual potential, foster team unity, and encourage sportsmanship.
