About
The MidAtlantic Fiber Association (MAFA), est. 1983, supports fiber arts guilds in the Mid-Atlantic region. MAFA promotes education, development, and public outreach through its biennial conference, grants, fellowships, and scholarships. It began in 1980 to facilitate communication and idea exchange between guilds.
Mission
MAFA represents and supports a community of fiber arts guilds in the greater Mid-Atlantic region. The all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization provides financial grants, fellowships, and scholarships to promote education, development, and public outreach in the fiber arts.
