About
The Mifflin County Historical Society, established in 1966, preserves and shares Mifflin County's rich history. Operating the McCoy House Museum and the Hoopes School, they offer research services and historical information to the public. They welcome new members interested in local history.
Mission
The Mifflin County Historical Society exists to record and preserve our history and to relate to present day events and places, so that coming generations will cherish and protect this heritage from the past and its people. The Society operates primarily through the support of member volunteers.
