Founded in 1943 as part of the Mare Island Recreation Association and chartered in 1947, the Mira Theatre Guild is Vallejo's first and longest-running community theatre. It aims to inspire and empower consciousness and compassion in Vallejo area artists and audiences through high-quality, community-based productions, from classics to new works. Housed in the historic Bay Terrace Theater, the Guild has been a crown jewel of Vallejo, offering arts education for children, adults, and seniors.
