Mission at the Eastward (MATE), founded in 1954, loves neighbors in Central Western Maine through volunteer home repairs and transitional housing, fostering hope, security, and dignity. Programs include MATE Youth Connection, MATE Housing Repair, and MATE Transitional Housing, serving the disadvantaged, including families, youth, veterans, disabled, elderly, and single-parent families.
