Founded in 1948, the Mississippi Art Colony is the country’s oldest artist-run organization. It provides week-long practicum experiences twice a year, helping Mississippi artists develop their abilities, build professional skills, and foster community. Workshops are held at Lake Tiak-O’khata in Louisville, MS, offering educational opportunities with guest artists and curators.
