MITREE, created in 2012 by the Michigan Association of Timbermen, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Newberry, MI. Its mission is to provide information, training, and education to those involved with Michigan’s forests, forest product transportation, and wood product manufacturing. Training covers sustainable forestry, safety, business practices, and best management practices.
