The Montgomery Home, serving Middleboro since 1925, offers housing to elderly residents. Originally the Home Union for Aged People in 1899, it was inspired by Harriet M. Washburn. The Victorian mansion, built in 1888, was later deeded to Montgomery Home in memory of Shaw's parents.

Montgomery Home provides residents with a high-quality lifestyle in an independent living environment. The staff promotes a caring and nurturing atmosphere, allowing residents to enjoy their independence on the beautiful grounds of a 19th-century estate.
