The Moon Township Volunteer Fire Company, founded in 1934, is a 100% volunteer fire and rescue organization with over 50 active members operating from 4 stations. As the busiest volunteer fire company in Allegheny County, they respond to approximately 800 calls a year, providing fire suppression, emergency rescue services, and fire prevention education to Moon Township's 28,000+ residents. Their mission is to protect life and property through respect, integrity, character, professionalism, inclusivity, safety and unity.
