Mothers Tutoring Academy (MTA), founded in 2013, is a Saint Paul non-profit offering after-school tutoring to K-12 students, particularly recent East African immigrants. MTA provides tutoring in math, science, and reading, along with youth development, peer mentoring, and parent/community support programs. Their mission is to support students who are behind grade level or new to the country by creating academic success, independent learning, and peer assistance.
