NAMI Metro, founded in 2008, is a grassroots volunteer organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by mental illness. They offer support, education, and advocacy, and work to eliminate stigma. NAMI Metro also promotes research to improve the lives of those living with mental illness.
Mission
NAMI Metro improves the quality of life for individuals with mental illness and their families through advocacy, support, and education in Southeastern Michigan. They are dedicated to erasing the stigma associated with mental illness and promoting research for better treatments.
