The Nebraska Firefighters Foundation, established in 2004, runs the Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center in Kearney. It preserves Nebraska’s firefighting heritage, promotes understanding of firefighting's impact, educates about fire prevention/safety, and memorializes Nebraska firefighters. The museum is dedicated to the courageous firefighters of the state, past, present, and future.
