The Nebraska Panhandle Area Health Education Center (NP-AHEC), established in 2005, partners with the University of Nebraska Medical Center to improve healthcare in rural and underserved Nebraska. Serving seventeen counties, NP-AHEC connects students to careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health through programs like continuing education, health professional clubs, job shadowing, the Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP), and Scholars Program.

Nebraska Panhandle Area Health Education Center supports healthcare, academic, and community members in the region. They are champions in recruiting, creating, and maintaining a healthcare workforce through collaborative partnerships.
