The New Rochelle Public Library Foundation, est. 1993, ensures the library remains vibrant and up-to-date. Founded during a time of economic challenges, it bridges the gap between library needs and taxpayer support. Its first major project was the Reach for Tomorrow Campaign, renovating the library's 2nd floor and building an endowment. The Foundation advocates and raises resources to serve the diverse New Rochelle community.
