Mentor Programme

School Partnership Program
A member of the Chorale's artistic team visits partner schools monthly, introducing students to classical music. Reached over 1,000 students since 2006.
We Sing NYC
Unites New Yorkers through musical exploration, choral arts, community voice lessons, and access to live music.
Young Artist Program
Partners with the Manhattan School of Music to provide professional performance opportunities for their students.
Performance Program
Invites youth choruses to perform in concerts and provides complimentary tickets.
Community Performances
Engages in community performances, including visits to healthcare facilities and organizations like The Lighthouse Guild and Housing Works.

The New York City Master Chorale, founded in 2006, connects people through choral music. Led by Artistic Director Dr. David Recca, the 65-voice Chorale presents high-quality concerts inspired by NYC's energy and diversity. They perform at venues like Carnegie Hall and have toured internationally, engaging diverse audiences through innovative programming and community outreach. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025-2026.
