About
New York Sarbojonin Durga Puja Committee (NYSDPC) was founded in 1984 by ten Bengali families. The NYSDPC celebrates Durga Puja annually, inviting families to participate in Puja, Arati, Anjali, Prasad and Bhog. They also celebrate Lakshmi Puja. The 41st annual Durga Puja will be held on October 4th and 5th, 2025, at the VFW Hall in Franklin Square, NY.
Mission
New York Sarbojonin Durga Puja Committee supports and propagates the Hindu religion through non-profit cultural activities. They create a homely atmosphere for the community to come together and celebrate the Durga Puja.
