Founded in 2005, New York Says Thank You empowers disaster survivors to heal by helping others. Their programs include 9/11 Anniversary barn-raisings, Hurricane Sandy First Responder Rebuilding Fund, National 9/11 Flag Restoration, 9/12 Generation Project, and Stars of HOPE, using service and art to transform communities impacted by disasters and promote healing.
Mission
The New York Says Thank You Foundation builds hope and provides healing to people around the world. They continually “Pay It Forward” for the humanity, kindness, and volunteer spirit New Yorkers and all Americans experienced after 9/11.
