Programs & Services
Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Free Concerts
Provides free concerts for various groups, including retirement homes and patriotic ceremonies. Musicians volunteer their time, and concerts reach audiences of approximately 500 people.
Big Band Showcase
Organizes a Big Band Showcase at the United Theatre, donating all profits to local school music programs, benefiting approximately 120 music students.
Community Concerts
Presents indoor/outdoor concerts, including retirement homes and a 4th of July concert. The band has 45 members, and audiences reach about 1250 people.

About
The Noank-Mystic Community Band, est. 1979, brings music to southeastern CT through its concert band, swing band (As Time Goes By), and New Horizons Band, offering performance opportunities for musicians of all levels. They host concerts, including the Summer Sounds series, and perform at community events, providing free music and fostering local arts engagement.
Mission
The Noank Mystic Community Band provides great sounding big band music of the swing and jazz eras for listening and dancing. They perform for a variety of occasions throughout southeastern Connecticut, playing well-known songs from the swing era to more recent jazz bands.
