North Bay Cancer Alliance, founded in 2005, supports low-income cancer patients and their families in accessing vital treatment. They focus on increasing access to care, research, and education for patients, families, and physicians. Their activities encompass prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and support, including the Driven to Care program, which provides free rides, gas money, and car repair assistance.
Mission
North Bay Cancer Alliance is committed to helping people in the community cope with both the risk and reality of cancer by providing information and resources related to the prevention and early detection of cancer and by developing programs and collaborations to help the underserved to receive the care they need.
