The North-Central Florida Operating Engineers JATC Fund, established in 1968, provides instruction and training to Operating Engineer apprentices in Jacksonville and Orlando. They offer a four-year apprenticeship program, journeymen upgrades, OSHA safety classes, and NCCCO certification training. They also provide training for the USAR Team in crane signaling, rigging, and heavy equipment use during catastrophic events.
