The North Scituate Fire Department, founded in 1993, is an all-volunteer fire department that responds to over 900 emergencies each year. They provide fire suppression, rescue, and advanced life support services to the community. They operate with a Ladder, Heavy Rescue, Tanker, ALS Transporting Rescue and a Brush Unit. They also have per diem EMS personnel and are actively seeking new volunteers.
