The North Texas Latin American Physicians Association (NTLAPA), founded in 2011, is a non-profit organization of physicians in North Texas. NTLAPA aims to increase the number of underrepresented Latin/Hispanic individuals in medical education through scholarships, encouragement, and support. They offer scholarships to Latin-American students pursuing healthcare professions and support medically related relief for the poor in North Texas.
Mission
NTLAPA supports students in medical and medically related education, supports medically related relief for the poor, distressed, and underprivileged, and supports selected charitable organizations primarily in North Texas.
