The Northeast Aquatic Plant Management Society (NEAPMS), founded in 2002, is dedicated to the understanding and management of aquatic vegetation in the northeastern US. NEAPMS provides scientific and educational advancement for members, encourages research, promotes information exchange, and tracks governmental policy related to aquatic plant management. They convene annually to share research and plan for the year.
