Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
Adult Education and Literacy Program
Offers free ESL and GED classes, as well as career training, to adult residents of Dallas County.
Refugee Resources
Empowers students with literacy skills through mentor relationships, offering reading circle and preschool circle.
Love Is Ministry
Hosts Kid's Club each Saturday morning and focuses on soccer ministry and pastor training.
Vickery Trading Company
Trains refugee women to sew and work in a business environment, providing education, mentoring, and job placement.

About
Northwest Community Center in Rockford, IL, established in 1948, provides a space for the community to gather, learn, and be social. Originally the Auburn Day Association, it evolved into NWCC, becoming a vital hub with support from United Way and local donors. NWCC offers diverse programs, including education, youth & family services, and employment training, serving 15,000 individuals annually across its 8-acre campus.
Mission
Northwest Community Center works with underserved populations across Rockford to improve the quality of life within the community, specifically in the areas of education, employment and health.
