The Octoraro Watershed Association (OWA), est. 1967, protects the natural and historic resources of the Octoraro Watershed. They promote water quality, sound land use, and environmental awareness. OWA increases stakeholder participation in conservation, raises environmental education, boosts membership, and promotes activities that improve water quality. Programs include buffer plantings, stream monitoring, clean-ups and outreach.
