A weekend race series in early June, traditionally starting from Watch Hill, RI, to Block Island, with Saturday races around Block Island.

A weekend race series in mid-September, usually from New London, CT, to eastern Long Island, with Saturday racing around buoys in Gardiner’s Bay.

The Off Soundings Club, founded in 1933, is a yacht racing organization with ~500 experienced members, primarily from Connecticut. It was founded to promote sailing and camaraderie through weekly meetings and offshore regattas. The club organizes two offshore regattas each year, to Block Island in the Spring and to Gardiner’s Bay in the Fall. These regattas attract over 200 racing sailboats and over 1000 sailors.
