About
The Old Capitol Saddle Club, est. 1959, fosters a love for horses and outdoor fellowship in Corydon, IN. Founded by horse enthusiasts after the Harrison County Fair, the club hosts trail rides and horse shows. Meeting at the courthouse initially, they acquired grounds in 1971. A clubhouse fire in 2013 led to rebuilding, with meetings temporarily at the Community Center. The new building opened in 2015 and continues to evolve.
Mission
This non-profit organization enjoys the outdoors, rides horses, and fellowships with other horse owners in a family-oriented environment. They host fundraisers, fun shows, and trail rides while promoting camaraderie.
