About
The Old Guard Foundation, founded in 2012 by retired correctional officers from Folsom State Prison, aims to educate the public about the Corrections profession and its officers. It collects, preserves, and displays the history of corrections, and is developing the Big House Prison Museum to offer an inside look at prison life. The Foundation strives to foster positive relationships within law enforcement and honor officers' service.

The Old Guard Foundation works to advance public understanding of the Corrections profession and its peace officers through communication, collaboration, and education. They are committed to collecting, preserving, and displaying the history of the profession for future generations.
