The Old Woodbury Historical Society, founded in 1966, preserves information about old Woodbury. They maintain the Hurd House, the schoolhouse on Main Street South, and the Archives. The Woodbury Historical Society, established in 1984, collects and preserves the heritage of the Town of Woodbury through maintaining an archive and engaging with the community.
