The Palmetto Shag Club, founded in 2000, is a Columbia, SC-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting and preserving shag dancing and beach music. They introduce shagging to juniors and others through social events and workshops, and are a member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs.
