Park Ridge Speedskating, formed in 1968, is a non-profit promoting amateur ice speedskating. They develop skaters for competition or skating for fun, health, and community. Founded by Rich Widmark and Dick Wellbank, the club has produced Olympians and National Champions, inspiring generations.

Park Ridge Speedskating is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for skaters of all ages and abilities to participate in speed skating for fun, fitness, and competition. With certified coaches and a welcoming environment, they have been promoting the joy of speedskating in the Chicago area for over 50 years.
