About
The Peninsula Symphony enriches the community with inspiring musical presentations and promotes music education. Founded in 1949, it grew from merging musical ensembles. Under Maestro Mitchell Sardou Klein, the Symphony expanded its programming, including concerts at Stanford, family concerts, and summer concerts. They also have extensive outreach with school presentations, competitions, and master classes. The Symphony presents diverse music and has presented debut performances of young artists. They also founded the Peninsula Youth Orchestra.
