Founded in 1972, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute (PDI) is a large organization with ~400 members: lawyers, insurance executives, self-insurers & adjusters. PDI provides a communication link, informs members on cases/decisions, represents member interests, enhances member skills, encourages improvements in justice administration, & works to eliminate court congestion. PDI is dedicated to the defense of civil claims through advocacy and education.
Mission
The Pennsylvania Defense Institute provides resources, education, and advocacy for civil defense attorneys and related professionals, fostering excellence and improvements in the administration of justice across the state. With a strong membership, they work to enhance knowledge, skills, and common interests within the defense community.
