The Petri School of Irish Dancing Foundation, founded in 2001, promotes Irish dancing and culture. The Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing, founded in 1991 by Karen and Lisa Petri, has grown into one of the preeminent Irish dance schools, teaching students aged 4 to 21 in East Northport and Franklin Square, NY.
