Ground Search Team
Conducts searches on foot, often the first team deployed. Members complete over 100 hours of training in first aid, CPR, map reading, tracking, and wilderness survival.

Mountain Rescue Team
Specialized team for rescues in mountainous and alpine environments. Experts in technical rope rescue, snow/ice climbing, avalanche response, and wilderness survival.

Four Wheel Drive Team
Provides off-road response capabilities to access remote and rugged terrains. Uses four-wheel-drive vehicles to reach inaccessible areas and deliver timely assistance.

Mounted Team
Searches from horseback, covering various terrains from urban to mountain trails. Horses provide a unique perspective and keen senses for locating missing persons.

Dog Team
Highly skilled canine teams that locate missing or lost individuals in various terrains and conditions. Trained handlers and dogs work to swiftly find and bring individuals to safety.

Motorcycle Team
Provides rapid response in search and rescue operations, especially in areas with limited access. Riders navigate diverse terrains to quickly reach remote locations.

Incident Command Support Group
Provides logistical and administrative support to incident command during search and rescue operations, ensuring seamless coordination and effective functioning of operations.

Communications Team
Handles communications during search and rescue operations.

Tahoe Nordic Team
Handles search and rescue in Nordic/snowy environments.
