The Plainfield Riverfront Foundation, est. 2010, supports Plainfield's Riverfront Park, aiming to make the DuPage River a focal point for the community. In partnership with the Village of Plainfield, the foundation implements a Riverfront Master Plan, including trails, recreation, overlooks, and a paddlecraft launch. They enhance the riverfront through public and private partnerships, promote cultural, natural, economic, & recreational amenities, and host programs like the Veteran’s Banner Program.
