About
Plum Borough Community Library, founded in 1991, enriches lives by providing free access to materials and services. Its mission is to treasure the past while shaping the future, offering diverse programs for all ages including children's programs, outreach literacy, teen/tween activities, book clubs, and story times. The library fosters lifelong learning and community partnerships, participating in the PA Forward Star Library Program. It also features public computers, free WIFI, digital resources, and the Oliver M. Thompson History room.
Mission
The Plum Borough Community Library provides residents with free and equal access to all library materials and services. They offer information that meets personal, educational, professional, and recreational needs, and promote reading and lifelong learning for individuals of all ages.
